2025 Tony Award nominations announced

Nominations for the 2025 Tony Awards have been announced, honoring the best plays and musicals of the 2024-25 Broadway season. Buena Vista Social Club, Death Becomes Her, and Maybe Happy Ending, all of which are up for Best Musical, lead the pack with 10 nominations each. In a four-way tie for second, with seven nods each, are Best Musical nominee Dead Outlaw, Best Musical Revival nominee Sunset Boulevard, and Best Play nominees John Proctor Is the Villain and The Hills of California.
